Erin Smith, a two-sport star from Durham College, has excelled on the fastball field as well as the volleyball court.

This past season, on the pitching rubber she set the OCAA women's fastball single season earned run average record with a 0.17 ERA, to go along with a 7-0 record including a perfect game, no hitter and three one-hitters. Erin was also named the OCAA championship top pitcher and MVP, leading her Lords team to their impressive second provincial championship in three seasons.

On the volleyball court, Erin was named a CCAA all-Canadian, OCAA league all-star and helped to elevate her team to an OCAA silver medal and a fifth-place finish at the CCAA championships.

Erin has also received top honours from Durham College for her remarkable accomplishments by being named female athlete of the year in 2001-02 and 2003-04.
