True freshman Kumar rolled through the OCAA West Regional championship men's singles flight, taking the crown in undefeated fashion, not dropping a set along the way. He completed the event with a mark of 5-0, with an average set score of 21-10. His efforts helped Humber take the men's team title at the event. Kumar and his teammates will now take the short trip to the University of Toronto Mississauga from Feb. 15-16 for the OCAA Badminton Championships. Six competitors, including Kumar, will make up the men's singles competition.
