Thomson came into play on Sunday a few points back of teammate Brendan Lyons for the OCAA men's baseball batting title. In Game 1 of a doubleheader sweep of Seneca, he went 2-for-4, with two runs scored and two RBI. In Game 2, he secured the title by going 1-for-2 with another run scored and another RBI. Thomson finished with an average of .422, just a single point up on Lyons and 11 points up on the third-place player. Thomson finishes his career with a robust .375 average, and placed himself in the top of almost every Humber career offensive record.
