Brown was the top OCAA male runner at Saturday's 2018 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Cross-Country Running National Championships. Despite blizzard like conditions at the start of the men's eight kilometre race at Seneca College King Campus, Brown finished in a time of 28:10, nine seconds shy of the podium. He placed eighth at nationals in 2017. The two-time OCAA medalist and All-Ontario First-Team member, winning the silver medal at last October's provincials, was recognized as an All-Canadian for the second straight season.
