Diop had a big game on Saturday at home against Georgian helping La Cité earn its first win of the season. Diop scored a season-best 30 points while grabbing seven rebounds. The power forward also contributed three steals, two assists and a block. He was a very efficient 11-of-12 shooting, including 2-of-3 beyond the three-point arc. Diop was also 6-of-7 from the charity stripe. La Cité (1-6) is hoping to use the outcome as a spring board towards more victories as it travels to Canadore (3-4), Centennial (4-4) and Seneca (7-1) before the December break.
