Lamb had an impact week at the plate in three separate victories for the undefeated Seneca Sting. The first-year shortstop scored three runs in Seneca's doubleheader sweep against George Brown on Sept. 18, and followed it up with a 3-for-3 performance against perennial powerhouse St. Clair on Sept. 20, including a walk, three runs, two triples and a dramatic walk-off two-run home run in the bottom of the seventh in a come-from-behind 4-3 win. With seven straight victories to begin 2019, Seneca has already established a new team record for wins in a season.
