Hough was named Championship MVP of OCAA provincials, helping Humber secure its second straight gold medal. On Day 1 of the competition, Hough pitched a complete game five innings, allowing no runs while striking out five in a 10-0 win over championship host Durham. Hough got the call again the following day in the elimination gold medal game against Durham, pitching another six innings, allowing just two earned runs while striking out four in Humber's 9-2 win. Overall Hough allowed 12 hits over 11 innings at the championship, while walking only two batters.
