Parkins was exceptional for Durham in its decisive 45-12 semifinal victory over Seneca on Nov. 3. The speedy second-year wing has been a key defensive player for Durham all season long coming up with a number of sensational tackles, adding to those totals in shutting down the Sting attack. In addition to his sure-tackles, Parkins has come on as an offensive weapon, scoring two tries in the semifinal win, helping the Lords secure a berth to the OCAA gold medal match for the second year in a row. The championship finale takes place Nov. 10 at Georgian.
