Murphy put together one of the best weeks in OCAA men's baseball history, leading Humber's offence as the Hawks scored 48 runs in three games. Murphy finished a three-game road trip with eight hits, five extra-base hits (including two home runs) and 11 RBI. He slashed a combined .889/.923/1.667 as Humber improved to 5-0 on the young season. Murphy set a new single-game record with nine RBI in a 31-4 victory over Centennial on Sept. 25. Murphy also tied an OCAA record going 5-for-5, including two round trippers, one a grand slam.
