Hampson finished in a three-way tie for third place at the rain-shortened 2021 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Golf National Championship presented by PING. Hampson was consistent in his three rounds at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor, Ont., shooting 72-71-72 for two-over par, and was in great position to make a run at a gold medal before inclement weather washed away the final round. It was a better outcome for the All-Ontario golfer who just missed out on the podium placing fourth at last month’s provincials.
