Nieson became an All-Canadian on Nov. 13, running in a six kilometre time of 24:08 at the 2021 Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association Cross-Country Running National Championships in Calgary, Alta. The time was good for eighth place among national runners, and a spot on the All-Canadian team. In an abbreviated schedule, the 2019 OCAA Rookie of the Year finished in fourth place at the Fanshawe Invitational, third at the Centennial Invitational and was the bronze medalist at OCAA provincials. Nieson is also a two-time member of the All-Ontario First-Team.
