Gordon scored a hat-trick against the George Brown Huskies on Oct. 1, including the game-winner, en route to a 4-3 road victory for the St. Lawrence Surge. It ended a scoreless drought for the second-year striker, matching Gordon's total of three goals in 2021. It also marked Gordon's first-ever multi-goal match in the OCAA. The victory was significant as St. Lawrence had lost four straight entering the match. At 2-5 and in sixth place in the East Division, the Surge are now poised to return to the playoffs with three regular season matches remaining.
