Dave Emerson played two seasons for Humber College, beginning in 1984-85. The blueliner scored seven goals and added 17 assists for 24 points during the regular season.

Emerson was named an OCAA Second-Team League All-Star as Humber earned an OCAA silver medal at season's end.

Dave returned in 1985-86 and scored a dozen goals while assisting on 43 others for 55 total points. Emerson was named an OCAA First-Team League All-Star as Humber won the OCAA championship.

At nationals, the CCAA All-Canadian led his Hawks to a silver medal, earning Tournament MVP and Championship All-Star honours.

Emerson is a member of the OCAA Men's Hockey All-Millennium team.
