Dan (D.J.) Meloff played two seasons with the Seneca Braves men's hockey team, winning the OCAA championship both times.

The defenceman scored six goals and contributed 32 assists during his rookie 1983-84 season. Meloff was named an OCAA Second-Team League All-Star for his efforts. Seneca had a 22-1-1 regular season record en route to winning the OCAA title. Meloff and his teammates ended their season with a bronze medal at nationals.

During the 1984-85 campaign, Meloff scored seven goals and assisted on 33 others, being named an OCAA First-Team League All-Star. Seneca finished on top of the OCAA Tier I standings once again with a 22-5-0 record, winning a second straight OCAA championship.

Meloff is a member of the OCAA Men's Hockey All-Millennium team.
