An absolute pillar of the Sheridan College athletic department, Pat Blundy's experiences run the gamut from coordinating varsity sports, to running extramural and intramural activities, and ensuring that fitness classes and instructional activities were run seamlessly.

She was also a key contributor to the OCAA and CCAA, having been a convenor for several different sports on many occasions. Pat served multiple stints as OCAA convenor in women's basketball, women's hockey and tennis throughout the 1970s and 1980s. She was also the CCAA women's volleyball convenor from 1977 to 1980.

Pat was a member of the OCAA executive committee in the role of secretary from 1977 to 1979, and was the chair of the awards committee from 1979 to 1982.
