Althea Brevett is one of the most decorated women's volleyball players in Sheridan history, having been a part of the school's only OCAA championship in 1984-85, while rounding out her career with OCAA bronze (1985-86) and silver medals (1986-87).

In all three seasons, Althea was an OCAA all-star, while also earning post-season awards. She was named championship MVP in 1984-85 and a championship all-star in 1985-86 and 1986-87.

During her three seasons, the Bruins posted a 36-11 OCAA conference record, and never finished lower than third in the standings. She was a graduate of Sheridan's office administration program in 1987. Althea is a member of the Bruins hall of fame.
