Kathron Clunies enjoyed an award-winning career with the Seneca College women's volleyball team.

In her first season (1986-87), Clunies was an all-Canadian and an OCAA league all-star as she and her teammates won the bronze medal at the provincial championship. The next season, Seneca won the OCAA gold medal and Clunies was named championship MVP. At the Nationals in Sherbrooke, Que., Clunies added to her awards by being selected to the championship all-star team.

Clunie was a league all-star and Seneca's Female Athlete of the Year in both of her years in the OCAA.

When Clunies' college days ended in 1988 she was immediately inducted into the Seneca Hall of Fame, and then in 2000 she was named to the OCAA Women's Volleyball All-Millennium team.
