Kristen Lawson played for two women's volleyball programs during her OCAA career. As a setter Mohawk College, Kristen was a member of two OCAA bronze medal winning teams in 2006-07 and 2007-08.

Joining the Lambton College program for the 2008-09 season, Kristen switched positions to libero. She was named team defensive player of the year in both 2008-09 and 2009-10 and team MVP in 2008-09 and 2010-11.

Kristen was named an OCAA first-team all-star in her final season in 2010-11. She is a four-time OCAA all-academic and named a CCAA all-academic in 2010-11.

Kristen received an alumni association excellence award and women's volleyball dedication award from Lambton College.
