Angela Lee had a hugely successful college varsity career, curling for Confederation College and it would appear her future in the sport is just as bright.
Prior to college and with Lee as skip, she and her team represented northern Ontario at the junior nationals in the 1998-99 season. The team would later win the gold medal at the OFSAA high school provincial championship.
Into her college career and starting as a third, Lee won three consecutive gold medals at the OCAA provincials from 2000 to 2003. It was her second year in the 2001-02 season when she began curling as a skip and won the silver medal at the northern Ontario mixed provincials. She was also awarded the female athlete of the year from Cofederation College for her athletic ability that year.
The following season was hardly different, again being awarded the female athlete of the year and she was also recognized for her hard work in the classroom with the OCAA all-academic award.
Following college in 2003, Lee qualified and competed at the Scotties Ontario women's provincial championship as skip and has done the same in the 2006-07 and 2008-09 seasons as a third. She also has a northern Ontario provincial mixed championship under her belt and competed at the mixed nationals in 2006.
