ADAM MORANDINI

Category: Athlete
Sport: Men's Soccer
Institution: Humber College
Inducted: 2005

Adam Morandini began his colligate athletic career at Humber College in 1993. Humber immediately knew they had a special player in Morandini as he was named to the OCAA all-star team during his rookie season.

In his second year, he led Humber to a pair of provincial championships (indoor and outdoor soccer), an accomplishment that had never been achieved in OCAA history. At the national outdoor championship, Humber earned a silver medal. That year, Morandini's individual accomplishments included recognition as an OCAA all-star, team MVP, and Humber athlete of the year.

After an exceptional sophomore season, Morandini and his Hawks followed it up with another strong season. The Hawks captured their second outdoor championship provincial title, and closed out some unfinished business by winning the national championship. Morandini was named as a CCAA all-Canadian and OCAA all-star.

In his final season of play and for his second straight year, the goalkeeper was named as a CCAA all-Canadian. Upon graduation, Humber recognized Morandini's contribution to the school and its soccer program by retiring his number. Adam remained with the team as an assistant coach for the next two years after his playing career was over.
