Abraham "Abe" Osman played for the Algonquin Thunder men's basketball team from 1997-2001.

Known as a quiet but fierce competitor who always showed up with his game face on, Abe was named an East region league all-star in each of his four seasons in the OCAA. 

In his sophomore season (1998-1999) Abe was recognized as one of the country's best as he received the prestigious all-Canadian award. To cap off his career in the 2000-2001 season he led the East region in scoring averaging 24.4 points per game.

Coach Hugh Lynn referred to Abe as a "pure shooter" who was always given the green light to shoot the ball. Abe led by example and his solid work ethic during practices and games led to him being chosen as a co-captain in his final year.
