Roland Tiamuh began his collegiate career at Algonquin College in 1997 where he was a two-sport athlete in soccer and basketball. Tiamuh was a dominant player for the Thunder at the midfielder and point guard position for his respective teams.

He was an integral member for Algonquin's 1999 OCAA championship soccer team, in which he was selected to the Championship All-Star team. During that year the team finished the season with a silver medal at the national championship.

In 2003, Tiamuh played for the Ottawa Wizards, a semi pro-team. Then in 2004, he was a member of the Ottawa Royals premier team, who went on to become the Ontario champions.

Tiamuh moved to Nova Scotia in 2007 where he attended Cape Breton University and joined the Capers coaching staff as an assistant coach. Today, Tiamuh is playing with the Ottawa Royals who were Ontario Cup finalists in 2010.
