In the summer of 1995 and 1996, Josie Tucceri played in the Canadian National Soccer championships and in the summer of 1997 she won bronze at the Canada Summer Games in Brandon, Man.

In her first year as a Mohawk Mountaineer, she was selected as the OCAA athlete of the week after scoring 12 goals in six games, with four goals in one game alone. She and her teammates were selected as Central West's best defensive team and division champions and Tucceri herself was Central West's scoring champion.

In addition to her OCAA bronze medal from that season, she was also awarded the CCAA all-Academic and all-Canadian awards. She was also named the Outstanding Female Athlete at Mohawk's athletic banquet.

Mohawk's women's soccer team continued to be the Central West's best defensive team for two consecutive years (1999, 2000) and Tucceri was once again the OCAA athlete of the week after scoring five goals in six games. Tucceri and her team also earned gold in the 1998-99 season at the OCAA championship and silver the following year.

Tucceri was inducted into Mohawk's Hall of Fame in 2006 and was named a member of the OCAA women's soccer all-millenium team.
