HUSKIES FALL IN QUARTER-FINALS

The George Brown Huskies women's basketball team's season ended as they fell 87-53 to the St. Clair Saints on the road Saturday (Feb. 24) afternoon.

NOTABLE STATS: First-year forward Jasmine Davis was a force for the Huskies, posting her second career double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds, adding two assists, two steals and two blocks. First-year forward Anan Abbatulam registered 13 points and five rebounds in the losing effort.

Overall, the Huskies improved their record from 3-11 last year to 8-6 this season, securing a third-place finish in the East Division. George Brown ranked in the top seven in the OCAA in points per game, field goal percentage, three-point percentage, opponents' field goal percentage and opponents' three-point percentage. The team went on to host and win a playoff game for the first time since 2020.
