Bangala an offensive force for No. 7 Durham

KINGSTON, Ont. - Scoring four goals in the Lords big 10-1 win, third-year striker Jeremy Bangala (Pickering, Ont.) showcased his offensive ability in Durham's road victory over St. Lawrence on Friday night.

The Lords jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead as Nigel Buckley (Pickering, Ont.) and Bangala both picked up goals in the first ten minutes of action in Kingsont, Ont.

Durham would add four more goals to take a commanding 6-0 lead into the half. Sheldon Brown (Whitby, Ont.) and J'Mar Williams (Brampton, Ont.) both tallied markers, while Bangala added another two to round out the first half hat-trick.

Following the break the Lords continued to shine on the offensive end as Bangala, Buckley, and Brown all added singles in the second half, while Matthew Morris (Ajax, Ont.) rounded out the Durham scoring line.

Kevon Grant (Oshawa, Ont.) and Dylan Toland (Ajax, Ont.) split time in net for the Lords.

The No. 7 Durham Lords will now travel to Ottawa, Ont. to take on the Algonquin Thunder for the second time in seven-days. Their 2017 OCAA gold-medal rematch a week ago ended in a 0-0 stalemate, setting up an exciting showdown for tomorrow afternoon. Kick off is scheduled for 3:15 p.m.
