BRAMPTON, Ont. - Though it was far from their best performance, the Sheridan Bruins men's basketball team (18-4, 9-1 OCAA) picked up their first win of the second half, downing Conestoga 93-50. 

"We were listless for much of the night," head coach Jim Flack said. "We seem to have lost some drive right now, but it's in the room. They're just got to recapture it."  

A tepid pace to open saw the two sides comebine for just 13 points after five minutes of play, with the Bruins holding a slim 7-6 edge.

They led 18-12 after one and though they held a 10-point advantage at the break, 34-24, their scoring output was their lowest total at the interval this season. 

In the third quarter the Bruins nearly matched their scoring output from the first half, putting up 33-points to take a 67-42 into the final frame. 

Although slow to start, it proved to be a balanced Bruin attack with all 14 players registering at least a point.

Nav Deol led the way with 14 points, while Nick Campbell, Terrell Carr, and Justice Williams each scored 10.

Williams also hauled down 10 rebounds to post his first double-double of the season, while Tremaine Anderson had a game-high 14 boards.

The club will make the long venture to Sault Ste. Marie this weekend for a pair against the Sault College Cougars.
