OSHAWA, Ont. – Although the Durham College women's soccer team didn't earn a victory on Friday night at home, the team is looking forward to their season finale against the Loyalist Lancers next week on the road.
 
The Lords will learn from the 8-0 loss to the CCAA no. 2 ranked Algonquin Thunder in their final home game of the regular season.
 
Earlier in the season Durham defeated Loyalist 1-0.
 
On Friday night Heather Travis (Oakville, Ont.) took the loss in goal for the Lords, making six saves.
 
Jenna King made three stops in the Thunder victory.
 
Darby Perry, Michelle Wilson and Vanessa MacMillan each scored twice for the Algonquin, while Jenna Baldree and Andrianna Dmulchalsky scored a goal apiece.
 
Kick-off in their season finale in Belleville is 6 p.m. on Wednesday.
