The men's soccer team put up a shutout performance for the fourth straight match, this time by a score of 4-0 against the Algonquin Wolves on the road Saturday (Sept. 30) afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Huskies jumped on the Wolves right away. Second-year midfielder Gianfranco Gileppo scored in his fifth straight match in the ninth minute. First-year forward Darius Kerr-Cooper sniped the next two goals for the team in the 28th and 52nd minute. Fourth-year striker Yonis Jama scored his seventh goal of the second in the 78th minute.
George Brown holds the best record in the province at 6-0.
UP NEXT: The Huskies hit the road to battle the Durham Lords on Wednesday (Oct. 4) night. Kick-off is scheduled for 8pm.
