HUSKIES SHUTOUT BY SENECA

The Huskies dropped a close 3-0 (27-29, 23-25, 23-25) decision to the Seneca Sting on the road Wednesday (Jan. 31) night.

NOTABLE STATS: Second-year outside hitter Daniel Kwan posted a team-high 12 points on 10 kills, a service ace and a block.

First-year libero Pedro Santos recorded a career-high 23 digs, while first-year outside hitter David Froebel tallied nine points on seven kills and a block.

Despite this setback, the Huskies will finish fourth in the East Division, and they are set to host a cross-over match, marking a significant achievement for the team as they haven't hosted one since 2018.

NEXT UP: The final match of the season for the Huskies will be against the Canadore Panthers on Saturday (Feb. 3) night, with the first serve scheduled for 6 pm. Prior to the match, the team will honour two graduating student-athletes, Daniel Kwan and Amirhossein Ghoreshi.
