NORTH YORK, Ont. - In a Friday night matchup with the Seneca Sting, the Durham Lords men's basketball team never found their footing in a tough 107-45 road loss.
The Lords defence struggled to slow down the Stings three-point shooting as Seneca shot over 50 per cent from behind the arc, nailing 13 three's on the evening. Facing a red-hot offence, Durham never found a counterpunch shooting just 30 per cent from the field, while also turning the ball over 29 times.
With seven days to make adjustments the Lords will next face the Algonquin Thunder in Ottawa next Friday, Nov. 9. Tip off for the road contest is scheduled for 8 p.m.

• Second-year forward
Shamar Lewis (Toronto, Ont.) was the lone Lord to break double-digits finishing the night with 10 points on 5-for-10 shooting from the field.
• Five Sting players reached double-digits led by Julio Vazquez who scored a game-high 18 points in just 13 minutes off the bench, nailing five three-pointers.

• Veteran forward
Julian Hinckson Jr. (Ajax, Ont.) grabbed a game-high eight boards, adding two blocks and two points.
• Second-year centreÂ
Esmail Danso (Toronto, Ont.) also had success cleaning up the glass bringing down six rebounds including four offensive boards.
• Ricky Ricketts paced the Sting with a team-high seven rebounds on top of his nine points scored.
