BRAMPTON, Ont. - The Sheridan Bruins men's basketball (10-1, 4-0 OCAA) won their eight straight - cracking the 100-point barrier in all but one of those - with a 110-66 win over UTM. 

"I'm very concerned with how many times we turned the ball over tonight, but we did play well at certain points," head coach Jim Flack said. "We had enough runs to pull away."

Sheridan turned the ball over 22 times, but fortunately was able to force 24 turnovers at the defensive end. 

The Bruins led by 13 after the first period, limiting UTM to just 10 first quarter points. 

They would push their advantage as high as 20, but saw UTM trimmed the margin to 14, 49-35, at the half. 

The Double-Blue had third quarter runs of 9-0, 11-0, and 8-0, as they out-scored their Region of Peel neighbours 31-13 in the third, leading by 32 (80-48) entering the fourth quarter.

They then opened on a 21-0 run that pushed the game well out of reach. 

Five Bruins hit double figures, led by Jemol Edwards (21), and followed by John Avery (12), Nav Deol (12), Nick Campbell (11), and AJ Thomson (10).

They have 10 days to prepare for a dangerous road swing through Sarnia and Windsor next weekend, taking on Lambton (Nov. 18) and St. Clair (Nov. 19).
