Hutton Leads Balanced Attack

The Seneca Sting (15-1) defeated the Fleming Knights (2-15) 106-51, just days after moving to the top spot in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association rankings.

The Sting swarmed the Knights early, jumping out to a 21-4 lead after the opening quarter.

The dominance on both ends of the court continued with the Sting holding leads of 44-13 at halftime and 71-32 after three quarters.

With the century mark in sight, the Sting poured on the points in the fourth quarter, hitting, and surpassing, triple digits with a thirty-five point quarter.

Twelve Sting players scored in the game with Trevor Hutton leading the way with 17 points. Daniel Wright (15), Yusuf Ali (12), Isaiah Ankra (12), Nabil Ibrahim (12) and Isse Ibrahim (11) all ready double digits. Ibrahim led the team with 10 rebounds to go along with a pair of blocks. Jordan Anderson recorded the most court time with 18:23 as all fourteen players saw game action.

The Knights were led by Akim Ruot who finished with 19 points to go along with 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. Lavar Williams added 9 points.
