SUDBURY, Ont. – The Durham College women's soccer team opened their OCAA campaign on Saturday with a draw at Cambrian College.
After a goal-less first half, Cambrian Golden Shield struck first early in the second half in the 49
th minute. Although the Lords had multiple chances throughout the contest, late in the game it looked like they may end up with a 1-0 loss.
Luckily for Durham,
Sarah Balzia was able to find the back of the goal in the 88
th minute for her first OCAA goal.
Jessica Prytulka played all 90 minutes for the Lords in goal to earn the tie.
Durham has the remainder of the weekend off as their next game isn't until their home opener Thursday, Sept. 17 against the Fleming Knights.
