BELLEVILLE, Ont. – After falling to the George Brown Huskies, the Durham College women's basketball team is back in the win column with back-to-back victories over Centennial and Loyalist.
 
On Friday night, the Lords had no issues defeating the Loyalist Lancers 86-34 in Belleville.
 
Lindsay Panchan (Ajax, Ont.) led the Lords with her sixth double-double in 11 conference games this season. She had 23 points and 10 rebounds.
 
Kayla Marshall (Ottawa, Ont.) and Courtney Harley (Cambridge, Ont.) added 15 and 13 points respectively.
 
Durham was in control the entire game, leading 51-19 at halftime. Although they slowed down their offence in the second half the Lords maintained their control over the Lancers offence.
 
Earlier in the week, at home against the Centennial Colts on Tuesday, Durham defeated the Colts 79-53.
 
Panchan was her usual self, picking up a double-double with 26 points and 13 rebounds.
 
Equally as impressive, playing in only her fourth game after returning from injury, Victoria Brody (Scarborough, Ont.) had 15 points off the bench. She played just under 13 minutes as she beat her previous season-high of seven points.
 
Durham will now return home to face the third-place Seneca Sting on Tuesday night. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
