Lords upset nationally ranked Huskies

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team has drastically turned things around to start the second semester of OCAA action.

After being blown out 81-44 in their first meeting with the George Brown Huskies on the road in November, the Lords rebounded with an 83-76 victory over the No. 6 ranked Huskies on Tuesday night in Oshawa.

Durham has now won three-straight games and have improved their record to 7-5 as they handed George Brown only their second loss of the year. The defending CCAA champion Seneca Sting are the only other team to defeat the Huskies thus far.

A dunk late in the game by Julian Hinckson Jr. (Ajax, Ont.) off and inbound play capped off the night in front of the packed Campus Recreation & Wellness Centre, giving the OCAA star of the week 12 points on the night.
