OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's volleyball team has yet to lose a set through four matches in OCAA play after defeating the Algonquin Thunder 3-0 on Saturday at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
 
Durham opened with a dominant 25-12 victory in the match, but the Thunder pressed them in the second as the Lords only won by two points, 25-23.
 
In the third set, after putting in all six starters, Durham coasted to a 25-17 set win to take the match.
 
Harrison Wood (Nebraska, U.S.A.) led the Lords with 10 kills, two service aces and two blocks, while Andrew Watson (Uxbridge, Ont.) added nine kills and a service ace.
 
The Thunder's offence was spread out as Gareth Luke picked up five kills, while James Amelotte and Stephen Patterson added four and three respectively. Amelotte also led the team in service aces with four and blocks with two.
 
The Lords will now have the week off as they prepare for their trip to North Bay to take on the Canadore Panthers on Nov. 14.
