Box Score OTTAWA, Ont. – Two seasons ago, the Durham College women's basketball team picked up their first win over Algonquin College in 17 attempts. On Saturday night, the Lords earned their most lopsided victory over the Thunder after a 92-49 win on the road.
 
With the score 18-10 after ten minutes, Durham broke things wide open in the second quarter outscoring the Thunder 32-11 to take a 50-21 lead into the locker room at halftime.

Things would go from bad to worse for Algonquin in the third quarter as Durham extended their lead to 77-33. When the final whistle blew, Durham would take it by a score of 92-49.
 
Maddie Dender had a career high 26-point performance to lead all scorers. Her previous high was 20, that was set in the Lords' home opener against Centennial on Tuesday night.
 
Dekota Kirby (Whitby, Ont.) recorded a triple-double with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists. She was just three steals off of recording a quadruple-double for the first time in her career.
 
Victoria Brody (Scarborough, Ont.) ended up with 14 points while freshman Zharia Gallimore (Ottawa, Ont.) had 10 in her hometown.
 
Durham is one of three team in the OCAA east region without a loss as they have started the season with a 2-0 record. The Lords will look to continue their win-streak on Saturday, Nov. 4 when they travel to North York to take on the Seneca Sting. Tip off is at 2 p.m.
