KITCHENER, Ont. - In a pair of back-to-back games against Mohawk and Conestoga, the Sheridan Bruins men's basketball team (9-1, 3-0 OCAA) out-scored their opposition in the second half by an average of 33.5 points, picking up a pair of victories - 86-50 against Mohawk and 128-66 against Conestoga - in the process. 

"We were extremely sloppy in certain stretches, but I think our depth just wore Mohawk down," head coach Jim Flack said. "So after three or four runs, you end up with a score like that, but if these guys want to be around the medals in March, we have to play way better."

Against Mohawk, the Bruins led 38-31 at the break, but held Mohawk to 19 second half points as they pulled away. 

Nick Campbell scored a game-high 19 points, while Samuel Odeznma (16) and AJ Thomson (11) were also in double figures.

Playing their first conference road game against Conestoga 24 hours later, the Double-Blue jumped all over a club making their return to the OCAA, posting a wire-to-wire victory. 

After leading 53-29 at the half, Sheridan exploded for 42 third quarter points.

Eleven Bruins scored in the contest, with five hitting double figures, led by Campbell (27), and followed by Nav Deol (17), Thomson (16), Tre Hibbert (14), Terrell Carr (14), and Odeznma (11). 

They will return home to host UTM on Nov. 8 (8pm).
