Box Score OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College women's basketball team got back in the win column with a convincing 28-point road victory over Georgian.
Leading by 14 points at the half, Durham turned to their pressure defence in the third quarter and outscored Georgian 33-12.
Victoria Brody (Scarborough, Ont.) led all scorers with 18 points while
Dekota Kirby (Markham, Ont.) had 17. For the fourth straight game,
Maddie Dender (Ajax, Ont.) was in double digits in scoring as she drained 13 points.
The Lords are 3-1 to start the season and sit in third place behind the Seneca Sting (4-0) and George Brown Huskies (3-0).
Durham's next action will be on the road as they travel to Belleville to take on the Loyalist Lancers. Loyalist is 1-1 to start the season.
