NORTH BAY, Ont. – The Durham College women's volleyball team ended up on the losing end of the battle of undefeated OCAA east division teams on Saturday afternoon as the Canadore Panthers took the match 3-0 in North Bay.
Canadore edged the Lords 25-21 in the opening set before taking the second 25-19. In the third it was all Panthers as they rolled to a 25-11 victory to take the match 3-0.
Jessica Broad (Courtice, Ont.) led Durham with 13 kills and three blocks in the loss, while
Allison Marshall (Orillia, Ont.) added seven kills.
Kristen Curtis (Frankford, Ont.) earned seven blocks at the net for the Lords, while picking up three kills.
Durham will now return home to take on the Loyalist Lancers on Thursday night. First serve at the CRWC is scheduled for 6 p.m.
