NORTH BAY, Ont. – In tough against the second place Canadore Panthers on Sunday, the Durham College men's volleyball team were unable to make any traction as they fell 3-0.
To wrap up the fall semester the Lords took a set off the Panthers in Oshawa, but were unable to finish a set on the road.
Durham came close with a 26-24 first set loss, followed by 25-20 and 25-22 scores, showing they were in the mix throughout the match – despite largely trailing Canadore in the OCAA east standings.
Next weekend the Lords continue their road swing with their annual trip to Ottawa to face the Algonquin Thunder and La Cité Coyotes.

Dalton Halligan (Cobourg, Ont.) led the Lords in kills for the first time in his OCAA career with nine.
• Leading the Lords in points was
Lucas Pichl (Cobourg, Ont.) with 14. He amassed seven kills, six blocks and an ace.
• Durham's offence ran through
Kyler Woodburne (Bowmanville, Ont.), who finished with 16 assists.
• Defensively the Lords were led by
James Hirt's (Scarborough, Ont.) seven digs, followed closely by
Tyler Krabi (Stouffville, Ont.) and
Lucas Pichl with six and five respectively.
