Sting Sour Over Century Mark

The Seneca Sting (4-0) showed off their prolific offense, defeating the La Cité Coyotes (0-4) 110-50.

The Sting took control of the game from the opening tip, jumping out to a 26-6 advantage at the end of the first quarter.

The twenty-point lead grew to thirty-five points at halftime, thanks to the hot hands of Jordan Anderson and Khalil Miller. Anderson led the Sting in the opening half with 13 points while Miller also reached double-figures with 10 points. The Sting shot 48% as a team in the first half while holding the Coyotes to just 19% from the floor. Despite trailing in rebounds 33-31, the Sting won the turnover battle with the Coyotes committing 20 to just 7 by the Sting.

The second half saw the Sting score 30 points in the third quarter and another 23 in the fourth to extend their lead to sixty.

Jordan Anderson led the Sting with 26 points. Isse Ibrahim and Khalil Miller each added 17 points with Miller also adding 6 blocks. Eric Landry and Trevor Hutton each reached double-figures with 11 points each.

Raphael Riche topped the Coyotes with 14 points and added 8 rebounds. Junior Masudi scored 12 points and contributed 14 rebounds.

The Sting shot 48% for the game while the Coyotes shot just 24% from the floor.
