OTTAWA, Ont. - Competing in their second game over two days in Ottawa, the Durham College men's basketball team defeated the La Cite Coyotes 90-75 on Saturday afternoon.
The Lords end a four game slide utilizing their team depth to drop the winless Coyotes.
Durham outscored La Cité 69-42 off the bench, while also shooting nearly 60 per cent from the field.Â
Home for their next two games, the Lords will look to jump back up the OCAA standings when they challenge the Fleming Knights (1-2) and Canadore Panthers (2-3). Durham will have 10 days to prep for Fleming, who they match up with on Tuesday, Nov. 20, before the Panthers come to Oshawa on Saturday, Nov. 24. Â

Brandon Halliburton (Brampton, Ont.) once again led the Lords in scoring with a team-high 21 points, adding five assists to his offensive totals.

Alberto Lopez (Barrie, Ont.) added 15,
Khaled Djabo (Guelph, Ont.) scored 13, and
Kadeem Buckley (Scarborough, Ont.) registered 11.
