KINGSTON, Ont. - The Durham College men's basketball team fell 67-65 in a tightly contested road game versus the St. Lawrence Vikings in Kingston on Wednesday night.
The Lords had a spectacular second quarter defensively, holding the Vikings to just four points. This allowed Durham to pull ahead 26-23 at the half. A back-and-forth second half saw the game stay within five points through the final five minutes. The Lords spectacular defensive output allowed them to outscore the Vikings 33-16 in points off turnovers. However, DC was unable to secure the elusive victory dropping to 3-11 on the year.
Durham's next opportunity to end the slide comes on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at Seneca's King Campus. The Lords will have plenty of support as the DCSI fan bus will be making the trip in support of the green and gold. VisitÂ
