The Georgian Grizzlies men's volleyball team began their final road trip of the season on Saturday when they travelled to face the Algonquin Thunder.
It was three tight sets against Algonquin, but Georgian found a way to get the job done winning 3-0 (25-22, 29-27, 26-24).
Ryan DeBruyn (Ottawa) had a season high 21 points in his hometown game registering 17 kills and four blocks. He currently sits sixth in the OCAA in points-per-set with 4.0.
Matt Kerr (Wingham) led the team with six blocks while adding five kills as part of an 11 point night. Kerr is leading all OCAA players with 1.07 blocks-per-set this season.
The Grizzlies will play their final game of the regular season on Sunday against the La Cite Coyotes at 2 p.m.
