TORONTO, Ont. – The Durham College men's soccer team will continue to hold their spot in the standings after topping the Centennial Colts 3-0 on Thursday night.
Mark Kamstra (Newcastle, Ont.) made 14 saves for the clean sheet victory, while Alex Ersyakov made nine saves in the loss for Centennial.
Bruce Cullen (Pickering, Ont.),
Sasa Vukoje (Trebinje, Serbia) and
Luca Coceancigh (Udine, Italy) each tallied for Durham in their sixth victory of the season.
Cullen's goal was his sixth of the season, tying him with
Austin MacDonell (Greenwood, Ont.) as the team's scoring leader. They each have two game-winning goals this season.
Durham will have the weekend off before hosting the Fleming Knights on Tuesday night at Vaso's Field, their second last game of the regular season. Their season finale is three days later at home when they host the first-place Algonquin Thunder.
Kick-off for both games is 8:15 p.m.
