Lords draws Vikings, have three conference games remaining

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's soccer team moved into second place in the OCAA east division with a 0-0 draw on Friday night against St. Lawrence - Kingston.

With important points on the line as teams fight for playoff spots, the Lords were down a man early as Sasa Vukoje (Etobicoke, Ont.) was given a red card in the eighth minute of the match.

Durham held off the advantage St. Lawrence had for the half and for the match as keeper Jonathan Codrington (Courtice, Ont.) turned aside nine Viking shots in the draw.

Navkiranjeet Sidhu stopped five Lords shots at his end of the pitch.

The Lords (2-2-3) will now travel to Peterborough on Tuesday night for their final road game of the season before welcoming Algonquin on Oct. 17 and Centennial Oct. 20.
