The women's soccer team shutout the Loyalist Lancers 2-0 on the road to extend their winning to three games on Saturday (Sept. 23) evening. 

HOW IT HAPPENED: First-year midfielder Sonia Chwalek found the back of the net in the third straight game in the 16th minute to open the scoring. The Huskies offence created numerous chances posting 20 shots on goal, and they doubled their lead off the foot of first-year midfielder Sammy York in the 53rd minute.

Second-year goalkeeper Victoria Broomer recorded her third shutout of the saving, making four saves in the victory.

UP NEXT: The Huskies remain on the road to face the Algonquin Wolves on Saturday (Sept. 30) afternoon. Kick off is set for 1pm.
