Box Score OSHAWA, Ont. – The Durham College men's basketball team won their second straight game on the road in overtime after picking up a 113-107 victory over the Loyalist Lancers.

Earlier in the week, Durham defeated Georgian 105-103 in overtime.
 
Durham improves to 6-1 in conference action, setting up a battle against the George Brown Huskies on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at home. George Brown is 6-0 to start the year.
 
Friday's game was a back and forth affair with the teams exchanging the lead 18 times. Durham had the largest lead of the game (11 points) in the second quarter, but the Lancers chipped away to tie the game at 95-95 after regulation.
 
In overtime, the Lancers stormed out with the first five points, but the Lords managed to fight back scoring the final seven points of the game to pick up the win.
 
Dondre Huggins (Scarborough, Ont.) scored a career-high 35 points, including going 6-for-11 from beyond the arc. He was also lights out from the free throw line going 7-for-8.
 
Funsho Dimeji (Malton, Ont.), Brandon Halliburton (Brampton, Ont.) and Trea Lawson (Whitby, Ont.) all had double-doubles in over 40 minutes of court time. Dimeji had 25 points and 12 rebounds while Halliburton had 24 points and 10 rebounds. Lawson ended up with 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Leading the way for Loyalist was Jeremiah Dulla and Christopher Asomani who had 27 and 25 points respectively.
 
Free throws were a key to victory for Durham as they went to the line 41 times, compared to just 22 by Loyalist. Durham would also outrebound Loyalist 62-47.
 
Durham has dominated Loyalist as of late winning seven of their last eight games.
