Box Score NORTH YORK, Ont. - Opening the second half of the OCAA season in North York, the No. 6 nationally ranked Durham College women's volleyball team defeated the Seneca Sting in straight sets. Set scores for the match were 25-8, 25-13, 25-13.
Coming off winning the annual Adidas Cup tournament last weekend, the Lords continued their hot streak this season, extending their record to 10-0 while winning in straight sets for the ninth consecutive match. DC also extends their impressive record versus the Sting, holding a 10-0 mark versus Seneca dating back to 2015.
Durham was most impressive at the service line, scoring 13 aces in the match, while also displaying exceptional defence, holding the Sting under 15 points in all three sets.
The Lords will now return to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre this coming Wednesday, Jan. 15, where they will face-off against the George Brown Huskies. First serve for the home game is set for 6 p.m., with all the action being streamed on

Haley Bickell (Winnipeg, Man.) had a career night scoring a game-high 12 points in the win from seven kills and five aces.Â

Allyson Terwillegar (Enniskillen, Ont.) and
Jessica Joensen (Newcastle, Ont..) combined for 15 points with Joensen recording six kills and two aces and Terwillegar notching seven kills.Â
• Gabrielle Wicks and Zeniah Pinnock tied for the Sting team-high with five points apiece.Â

Georgi Williams (Whitby, Ont.) continued her strong season at the setter position, adding 21 assists in the quick three set victory, adding two aces as well.
Karlina Domingo (Pickering, Ont.) also added 11 assists.
• First-year libero
Tiana Cowper (Calgary, Alta.) led the Lords defensively with 10 digs, while Joensen and Terwillegar showcased their all-around game adding eight digs each.
• Along with leading Seneca in points, Pinnock also led the squad with 10 digs.
